MYSORE: Ninety-two trainees passed out after completing a one-year training programme at the Regional Office of the Department of Fire Services at Saraswathipuram here. The trainees belonging to the 53rd batch presented an attractive parade at the Parade Grounds at Saraswathipuram on Monday. Inspector-General of Police Jeevan Kumar Goankar, who was the chief guest, received the guard of honour. Mr. Goankar said the job of fire services personnel was challenging since they had to protect life and property whenever there were fire accidents. Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore, V.G. Talawar was the guest of honour.
