Fire destroys equipment

BELLARY: Equipment and materials at five workshops were destroyed in a fire accident on Sunday morning. The loss was estimated to be around Rs. 40 lakh. Short circuit is said to be the cause of the accident. The Fire and Emergency Services Personnel, on getting the information, swung into action and controlled the fire from spreading. Health Minister B. Sriramulu visited the spot and assured the shopowners of getting adequate compensation.
