A massive fire that broke out at a thermocol factory at Karpur village near Anekal on Friday evening has damaged property worth Rs five crore. There was no casualty.
The fire, said to have spread during the welding work taken up in the factory, engulfed the huge hunks of thermocol. Later, it spread to other areas of the factory. Two fire tenders rushed to the spot around 7:30 pm and controlled the fire but the damage had been done.
